I currently wear my hair in the "bomb" twist style of braids. After shampooing/cleansing my...
scalp, is it ok to use a leave in conditioner, then massage my scalp with a light oil, or just do one or the other for conditioning/moisturizing?
Oil is best for hair whatever way you look at it and whatever regime you follow!! There can simply be no alternative!! So after shampooing, oil your hair and bask in the glow of shiny glittery tresses!!
one thing you will have to be careful of is the type of leave in conditioner you use, because if you use the wrong one you will notice white flakes if it does not mix well with the oil, I would suggest just using the leave in conditioner on your ends only and put the jojoba or olive oil for the scalp.
Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner, mix mixed 1/2 oz jojoba oil, 1/2 oz sweet almond oil, 1/4 oz vegetable glycerin for best results.
