Tattoos may cause skin infections in case if skin is very sensitive, and of course, it depends on type of tattoo you are using.
If you go to the right place and make sure they use clean needles and you do the care they tell you too after the tattoo..you shouldnt get a skin infection. but of course there may always be a slim chance.
