Do you think arm length tattoo's on sports players set a good example for children?
That's a tough call considering that tattoos are a form of expression, and we all like to be free to be expressive. There are lines that should be drawn, of course. It should be considered that certain professions might frown upon such tattooing, and most tattooing should be done in a way that can easily be covered for just that reason. Ultimately, whether or not an athlete has a tattoo is irrelevant. Good parenting and sound judgement and guidance should be able to circumvent any bad influences in our children's lives.
No, but I'm inclined to think that rampant drug (both recreational and performance enhancing) use, infidelity, solicitation of prostitutes, and assault charges set an even worse example for children. In the end, a little ink under the skin seems kinda minor, don't you think?
