When it comes to naming baby, who chooses the name...you are your spouse or the grands...?
I think both parents should agree. Other people can give feedback, such as grandparents, but ultimately it's the parents decision. Both parents should be comfortable with the name chosen or else it could cause friction. Plus, if the child turns out to not like their name, you don't want the blame to be heaped on one parent.
Generally in my country the first baby gets the name (of grandparents ) from the man . The next baby from the parents of woman .some times vice versa.
It depends from the situation
The mother and father, it is nothing to do with any of the grandparents.
What a wonderful time of life you are in. In our case, my wife and I discussed the different names that we liked but no decision was made until after the baby was born. It was then that my wife named our children. She stated that the names that she gave them fit the child and I have to say that I agree with her.
