Is there any hypoallergenic tongue jewelry out there?

I just got my tongue pierced and I found out Im allergic to the bar they used to pierce it with. I take it that it has nickle in it because Im allergic to nickle, and usually no other metals. I know I can wear gold, silver, and hypoallergenic stuff but I have no idea if they even make hypo anything for tongue piercings.

There are several companies that don't use nickel in their bars or other tongue piercing products.  You have to check the company online and reaserch which materials they make their products from.  They usually cost a touch more, but are worth it in the end, even if you didn't have an allergic reaction.

Tongue jewelry is made out of: silicone, gold, acrylics, titanium, sterling silver, wood and many more!

    Hope that helps.

I too am very allergic to the nickel in most body jewelry. When I had my tongue, labret and nose pierced I used white gold or titanium jewelry.
