What is best for (quickly) removing the stain of dead slugs from the skin?
It's late summer and slugs are out by the dozens in our yard. My kids and hubby have a tendency to forget they are there so, naturally, step on them. As you may know, squashed slugs leave thick tarry residue on the skin. While I can tolerate the effort of cleaning them off slowly so no stain remains, my family members are repulsed by these critters. So, does anyone have a clue on how to safely clean the stain quickly? Thank you!
Wine -- several glasses of it. All but one you drink then use the last one to remove the yucky from the skin. I think you have to leave it on for a while then rinse it off. I can't remember since it has been years I heard about it. My Mom told me that.
