Just from experience, I would start with a temporary tattoo that is something you have been considering getting as a real tattoo to just try it out. If it is a temporary tattoo that will last a couple weeks you will be able to decide if you really like it or not in a few weeks time. I have henna on my wrist of a tattoo that I have considered getting and even just after a couple of days I wanted it gone which gave me the conclusion of knowing I am not the type of person who should get a tattoo because I only like things temporarily.
Try it out first and if you still really like it when it begins to fade, consider getting it permanently!
It is generally said that tattoo is the only thing that you take with you in your grave. So get a permanent one only when you are really sure about it.
And till then you can always get temporarily inked.

Do you think its stupid for people to get tattoos of their boyfriend/girlfriends name?Is it a good idea to get a permanent reminder of somebody who may not be a permanent part of your life.

How many piercings can the human body stand? Will too much metal metal in your body affect blood circulation or something? Are there any long term side effects?
