If the marriage had ended in divorce then I would have no hesitation in selling it. I kept my wedding dress in a box for 34 years but upon opening found the white had yellowed. I also found I had 'grown' quite a few sizes larger! So I would advise anybody thinking of keeping their wedding dress to make sure its properly stored.

Absolutely! When I decided to divorce my first husband, I set about "cleaning house" immediately. I lost 200 lbs. (him) and lots of other stuff that was holding me back. It was cathartic! If I hadn't wanted to get rid of the dress and veil so quickly, I would have sold sold them. As it was, I gave them away. Gladly. (:
