Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus (Price. Rs. 15000)

This is the advanced version of Galaxy ACE. It possess some additions over the current ACE model. It offers 1GHz processor, 384MB RAM and 3.65 inch display, 3GB internal storage and some miner changes in addition compared to old ACE. But many is in the confusion whether it is worthy for the additional money that you are paying.

One drawback of the old ACE is the not so good 1300mAh battery, even with a larger screen and more good processor, in ACE plus same battery is used. This will result in draining the battery more fast than in ACE. The resolution of the screen is also same. Also considering that there are many other phones with better configuration with this price or 1k additional, this is not a worth buying phone.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i (Price Rs.14900)

It is a phone with really good configuration 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and adreno 205 GPU. This phone also possesses, a slide out qwerty keypad. Main camera is of 5MP with LED flash capable of recording 720p HD videos. Camera also offers a lot of features like image stabilization, touch focus, autofocus, red eye reduction etc. It also possess a front camera of VGA resolution making the phone capable of video call. 3 inch display of 320x480 pixels resolutions offers good clarity. Xloud technology offers superior stereo sound in loudspeakers. The phone is capable of capturing 3D images with the help of pre installed apps.

The only drawback of this phone is 1200mAh battery. It is really not enough to run this awesome hardware. If you are browsing internet or watching movies, you cannot expect one full day battery backup. Another one problem with the phone is the 320MB internal storage. Even though the move to memory card option is available. Some apps cannot be moved to memory card. Also the pre installed apps in the phone memory consumes some part of this 320MB.

Dell Venue (Price Rs.15000)

This is a phone with excellent specifications that you cannot find in any of the phones with near prices. It comes with 1GHz processor, 8MP camera, 4.1inch AMOLED display, 16GB internal memory and a 1400mAh battery also. Configuration wise this phone is above all other current phones in the market at the same price range. This phone comes with one year replacement warranty also.

But there are some complaints about this phone, most of them are silly only. First one is that its 1400mAh battery is not lasting long. Actually this is supposed to last long as even phones with more good configuration have less capacity battery only. lack of front camera and Android 2.2 instead of Android 2.3 also can be shown as miner drawbacks. Also the power cable for charging is a little short. But these drawbacks are silly only.

Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman - WT19i (Price. Rs.14000)

It is another awesome android phone from Sony ericson. This phone running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread comes with almost the same features of xperia mini pro. But it does not possess separate slide out keyboard. This is a touch only mobile. It possess a 1GHz qualcomm processor 512MB RAM, 320MB internal memory.5MP camera capable of 720p HD recording. Configuration wise it is same as Xperia mini pro with little bit differences like 3.2 inch screen in this phone. So go for this phone if you does not want separate slide out keyboard.

Here also the same problems present in xperia mini pro comes. Batter of 1200mAh is not enough to run this heavy configuration. Also 320MB internal memory will make you feel a little bit short sometimes.

HTC Wildfire S (Price. Rs.13250)

This mid end android phone from HTC comes with good specification and the cool Sense UI. It comes with 600MHz processor, 512 MB RAM and 512MB ROM. 5MP camera with LED flash is of good quality and offers good pictures even in low light conditions. The 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen of resolution 320x480 offers good clarity display. Battery of 1230mAh is able to support the phone for one full day if you are using moderately. Presence of GPU offers good quality graphics in games and all.

For the phone with such configuration 600MHz processor is not enough. The performance would have been more good if the processor is more fast. Another one drawback of the phone is the available internal memory. Available internal memory is 150MB only, remaining will be used by pre installed apps which you cannot uninstall. Battery also will not last for one full day if you are heavily using the phone.

Samsung Galaxy ACE Duos (Price. Rs.13300)

This is the dual SIM version of Samsung galaxy Ace which got good popularity. It is GSM, CDMA combination phone. But in this phone camera has been degraded from 5MP to 3.15MP. The processor of 800MHz and RAM is 278MB. This phone is a really nice option if you have one GSM and one CDMA SIM. Otherwise there are other options. Display of 3.5 inch and HVGA resolution is good and responsive. Battery of 1650mAh is enough to support both the SIM for one day even with moderately good usage.

But there are some drawbacks that you should note before you purchase this phone. In this phone you can use GPRS only through the CDMA SIM. Camera is lacking LED flash that was available in original ACE. Free internal memory available for the user is only 160MB, which will be consumed soon, if you are installing lot of apps.

Samsung Galaxy ACE (Price. Rs.12900)

This is one of the most popular Android phones currently present in market. It looks very similar to apple Iphone. Apple has filed a case also against its design. Along with the good looks, the phone is really good in specifications also. It possess 800MHz processor, Adreno 205 GPU, 278MB RAM etc. Camera of 5MP with LED flash and auto focus provides good quality pictures. It offers video capturing of VGA resolution. If you want more good configuration you can go for Galaxy ACE plus which is providing more good configuration in same good looking phone at nearly 15k

But in this phone also if you want you can find some flaws. Internal memory of 160MB will be consumed soon if you are installing a lot of apps, as some apps cannot be moved to memory card. Also the battery of 1300mAh is able to support the phone for one full day, but still it is not enough if you are a heavy user.
