Samsung Galaxy Y(Price. Rs.6990)
It is a low end android 2.3 gingerbread phone which is not low in configuration. It posses all capabilities of a smart phone. like 3G, GPS, Android etc. The main advantage of this phone is the superb processor of 832MHz. So it is faster than Galaxy fit of 10k. But the camera is a dragging factor. The 2MP camera is not comparable to 3.2MP and 5MP cameras. But if you are not using your phone for photographic purposes, the 2MP camera in the phone is very good. Another excellent factor about the phone, is its design(Same as the design of Galaxy ACE against which Apple filed case). Anyway even with the 3inch screen this phone is an aesthetically built one.
The demand for this phone is increasing day by day. All shops have raised the price to Rs. 7350 due to high demand from users

But considering the facts like graphics rendering, multitasking etc, the phone is average only. All other standard features of smartphones are present in this also Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS etc
LG Optimus NET P690 (Rs.9800)
This is another good Android phone from LG. This phone is running on Android 2.3 with an 800MHz processor under the hood. 3 MP camera and 3.2 inch touch screen with resolution 320x480 are average in this price range. RAM of 512 MB is good in this price range. It is comparable to Samsung galaxy Ace in all things except screen and camera.
But there is one excellent point about this phone. It is the battery. Its 1500mAh battery is very powerful and will power the phone for two days on an average, remember the usual backup of most of the present day smart phones is one day only.

Hence in case of speed you cannot say that it is bad. But the screen is 2.8 inch resistive touch screen. For experiencing the advantages of touch you will need minimum a capacitive touch screen of 2.8 inch, so in this phone the touch experience is not that good. Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc are available as it is a smart phone. Battery is of 1100mAh capacity. There are users with complaint that it will not give a standby time of 8 hours. Very poor battery. Most of the reviews of users shows that this phone is very bad in battery backup and touch experience. So better go for any of galaxy series of samsung.
Spice Mi-300 (Price- Rs.9000)
Surely Spice is not a well know brand in between mobile manufacturers. But this spcie mobile offers all the features that you can get only in a 15K budget phone. It is running on android 1.6, but is upgradable to android 2.1. It posses a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen and a 5MP camera with auto focus and LED flash. But battery is a bit weak as it offers only 1250mAh for 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen. It posses a 600MHz processor which is good enough. By hardware acceleration it cannot play divix files. But using additional softwares like old version of Rock player and QQ player it can also play divix files. Other disadvantages of the phone are the call clarity is average only. Also the display is not legible in sunlight.
