Best Cell Phone Plans Canada

Updated on May 27, 2011

Cell phones have begun to take over the world - well, not literally, but figuratively. Cell phones have taken over our lives; we constantly check our phones for new messages, to make calls, to write emails that, in the grand scheme of things, really had no purpose.

There are two things that can be done then: embrace the reign of mobile devices, or don't at all. There's not really any in-between - you either want it or you don't. It's my guess that you're embracing cell phones (because in the end they do make life easier, and bring families closer) and if that's the case then you need to know what the best way to embrace it is.

Unlimited cell phone plans in Canada, family cell phone plans Canada, the best cell phone deals in Canada... the amount of options and choices you have involving your mobile device can, at times, feel like an endless live. There are so many good cell phone companies in Canada that it's hard to know where to spend your cash - or, better put, where to spend your cash regularly.

Luckily you've come to the right place. You want to know what the best cell phone plans in Canada are; you want to know what the best cell phone deals in Canada are; you want to know what the best cell phone in Canada is.

Don't you?

Best Phone Plans Canada

There are some really good, cheap, and high quality mobile phone plans out there; but that doesn't mean it's a cell phone plan that will fit you. It can have the cheapness, the speed, and even the phone you want - but that doesn't mean it's the best for you. The best cell phone plans in Canada are the ones that fully suit your needs.

For example: Your a family of three and your child just became old enough to need - and want - a phone. What do you do? First you search the internet and the malls for the best cell phone plan in Canada; second you make a decision. Your decision is between two cell phone plans, a family cell plan and an unlimited plan. The unlimited plan is the cheapest and is the best for you; on the other hand the family plan is the best for the entire family. Which do you choose.

My point is this - check through all the best cell phone plans in Canada, because each company will have one - and decide that way.

Family Cell Phone Plans Canada

Family cell phone plans in Canada are a relatively new addition in the cell phone world.  Not to long ago mobile devices were big clunky things that you would never even think of giving to your children; now, of course, times have brought change.

Family cell phone plans in Canada are now some of the biggest selling phone plans - and some of the best cell phone plans in the world (all things considered) are Canadian family plans.

Telus Family Plan

Another one of the best family plans in Canada is the Telus Family Plan. This is a bit of a different plan than the Rogers family plan in that it's a bit more pricey but also has a few more defining features.

The Telus family plan is around $50 month, but that instantly will get you up to 200 local anytime minutes and, the best part, 500 MB of data a month. This means that this family plan in Canada is geared to Canadian smart phones. Ever wanted to try the BlackBerry Torch, arguable the best cell phone in Canada today?

Telus is also the one of the best cell phone providers in Canada; this means you will be guaranteed customer service as well as always being on a reliable and fast network.

Summary:

  • $50
  • 200 Local Minutes
  • 500 MB
  • Unlimited Family Calling
  • Free Local Calling on Birthday
  • Call Waiting, 3 Voice Mail and conference calling.

Rogers Unlimited Family Cell Phone Plan

There are many different rogers cell phone plans but by far their best plan is the unlimited family cell phone plan. As far as Canadian cell phone plans go, this is one of the best, giving you some of the cheapest rates, mixed with some of the best extras and a very fast network.

What makes the rogers family plan one of the best family cell phone plans in Canada? One of the biggest reasons is because it gives to choice and flexibility; the plan allows you to build your own family plan in a way so that each additional family member you add will get a free phone of their choice.

In Summary:

  • Cheap ($25 per family member)
  • Unlimited Social Networking
  • Unlimited Family calling and texting.
  • Each additional phone line added receives a free phone of choice.
  • Unlimited calls on weekends.

Add in the fact that the best cell phone in Canada is available to use and you have one of the best mobile plans ever.

Fido Unlimited Plans

Fido, a much bigger cell phone company than Virgin Mobile, works in a similar fashion. They off different monthly rates, from as low as $15, that will give you different kinds of unlimited features. This kind of flexibility makes it one of the best cell phone plans in Canada.

I haven't seen or heard one good thing about canadian cell phone companies, bad cell phone service, extremely rude, arrogant and unhelpful customer service reps, along with the highest cell phone charges in the world!

Why do we put up with crap like that!
