Reviewing the Sony Xperia C

With a Five Inch qHD display, this Android smartphone turns viewing experience into an stupendous delight. It contains 16M color combinations and 960 x 540 Pixel resolution. Wait wait, there is more there is Multi-touch (4 Fingers Supported), Screenshot Capturing in addition to Auto Rotation and being Scratch Resistant.

There can always be no question about Sony's camera. Xperia C is equipped with a 8 MP primary camera features like Exmor RTM for mobile and HDR, so you can take amazing pictures, even in low and dim lights. It also comes with a 0.3 MP secondary camera for the ones eager to take selfies. It has LED flash too. High Definition video is also added.

Well the phone contains 1 GB RAM, and has a 1.2 GHz MTK6589, Quad Core processor to run its system. It runs on Jellybean OS and has IMG SGX544 graphic system. It also has 4 GB internal memory with a 32 GB external memory support.

Other than these features, the phone supports all types of connectivity which includes, dual SIM, USB, EDGE, GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc

The Xperia C is a bomb, but it has few cons like its battery runs out and cannot withstand much. The phone also hangs in between which again outs it behind other phones. Nonetheless, the phone is worth the buy. You get a one year warranty on the phone and 6 years warranty on the accessories provided.

Sony Xperia SP

I guess if you are comparing screens and touch, nothing can beat the Sony Xperia SP because it is one of its class. The screen very well in hands since it's a little smaller than the Xperia C, it comes with a 4.6 (11.68 cm) screen with a vibrant HD display which is so vivid you feel you’re watching a HD television. The amazing display is powered by Mobile Sony BRAVIA® Engine which is the same as that powered in Sony TVs. This implies razor sharp images, vibrant colors and the enhanced contrast.

1.7 GHz Qual-comm Snapdragon which is Dual Core powers the Xperia model and it has a Adreno 320 graphic processor. With 16M colors, it has resolution of 1280 x 720 Pixels. Taking about the screen seems no end, the phone is Scratch Resistant, has Screenshot Capturing feature and can handle Multi-touch (up to 10 Fingers Supported) six more than the Xperia C. Corning Gorilla Glass also protects the phone which is also a feature of the new released Moto X, G and E series phones.

The phone is equipped with a primary camera of 8 MP and a secondary camera of 0.3 MP, this has LED flash and supports HD video recording. The phone features a 16X digital Zoom.

The phone has very little bad features. I have used the phone and there is no problem on hanging cases and battery dry out. It has a larger and long supporting battery. The phone features connectivity of all kinds which are available in India like 3G, EDGE, GPRS, USB, Wi-Fi, etc.

The phone is much much better than the Xperia C from all ends and is cheaper too.

Final Comment

If you are buying a Sony phone, my dear reader, I would suggest you to go for the Xperia SP. It fits a low budget person. The phone has a lot more for the price it is asking for.

But if you have a budget higher, then go for the Z. It is an exceptional phone and is much better than any other phone.
