Are your kids bored?

If you have an iPhone or planning to get one, I would highly recommend these applications for your infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. These apps will definitely help your kids learn in a fun way and help them get started on the right foot. I think that they are really helpful in preparing your children for school.

Are your kids bored? Not have anything to do?

These will definitely keep them occupied and they will enjoy them, while learning something new.

Are your kids distracting you?

You can even distract them with these apps and you will be safe to know that they are not only playing but learning at the same time. How great is that!

Apps:

1) MeeGenius:

Is an app that has a dozen reading books in one app. Each story has a storyteller that will go through the whole book. Each story has great illustrations and different tones of voices. They also have words so that your kids can follow along. They have some of the greatest stories that will keep your kids engaged.

2) iWriteWords:

This application is super fun. Your kids go through the whole alphabet and actually write out the letters on the screen so they can learn how to write out the letters in a fun way! I love this app. It also has the whole alphabet that your kids can tap their little finger too. Try it out.

3) Tapping Zoo:

This app has different animal sounds that your kids can hear. It has 2 dozen real animal pictures that they can see and then it has the name of the animal written out. When they tap on the screen the animal sound comes out so your kids see and hear the animal. What a great app!

4) Babyword:

I love this one!!! Make sure you get this application for your kids. It really teaches them how to spell and recognize different words. The app has four categories: animals, fruit, life, and random. Each category has it's words to spell. It will highlight the words in gray and then give you the letters in color so you can drag and drop them into the right spot. When you drag a certain letter it will pronounce that letter. After you put in the correct letters it will go through all the letters and then pronounce the whole word. Great app.

5) Alphabet:

Get this one!!! It goes through all of the letters of the alphabet while your child interacts with the objects. It even pronounces each of the letters and how they sound.

6) ShapeBuilder:

This one is great for introducing your kids to shapes and objects. It helps them learn while interacting with the screen. Each shape or object is like a puzzle and they will have to put it together. They will have to drag each puzzle piece to it's correct spot on the screen.

There are so many other great apps for your kids that will help them learn and play at the same time. Technology can be used for a better purpose then just to watch something on a screen.
