I have always wondered what these two were talking about when I shot this photo. Sure am glad it wasn't about "having" me for lunch!

A magnificent lion! Fred was a beloved lion for decades. Sadly, he died a few years back. He is greatly missed even today.

Before my son was born, I will readily admit that I never paid much attention to the insect world. His interests in them has given me a whole new appreciation for insects and their necessary place in our world.

I always feel so very privileged when a butterfly lights just long enough for me to capture a shot of their beauty in that brief moment.
