My career. I do like it quite a lot, I'm about seven years in and it's starting to take off beautifully. If it weren't for the internet, there's no way I could do this from my little out-of-the-way Wyoming town.

    SOCIAL CONNECTIONS
I would miss how easily I connect with family and friends, sharing updates daily. So much happens in between phone calls and seeing each other in person, and facebook keeps us that much closer. I'm a bit of a hermit, and the internet gives me a more active social life.

    INFORMATION AND EDUCATION
Whenever I run across something that I don't know, such as a definition, name, place, time, etc., I use google to find the answer. Google Earth allows me to get a real life visual of anyplace in the world, and I would really miss that if I couldn't access it anymore. I also use the internet to verify information in my writing. It is such an unlimited pool of information, and I would likely go crazy if I couldn't use the internet to find answers so quickly. Nowadays, we can even earn credits toward a degree online!

    CREATIVE RESOURCE
The internet also has an unlimited resource of visual elements useful for any type of creative endeavor.

    NEWS
I would miss the ability to be aware of happenings world-wide and locally, things that the newspaper and tv news normally wouldn't cover.

    BANKING AND SHOPPING
Anything I want, anything at all, I can find and purchase online. I can even have a wishlist on amazon to remember what I want when funds allow. I also love looking at houses (the best part of being a Realtor), and the internet allows me to have a virtual tour of any house on the market, anywhere in the world.

    WRITING
I love how I can use blogs, hubpages, and even build my own websites to share my written works with the world.

Everything must come to an end one way or the other like your death on the earth. I would not miss anything because I have already fulfilled my purpose on the internet with my 1 article that have been spread around the world in 8 countries through 100 percent referring sites and answering questions on hubpages. Before this event happens I would like to publicly thank the referring sites for finding and spreading my article around the world in 8 countries and possibly many other countries above the 8 countries that I now have. 2. I thank the staff of hubpages for allowing my 0 hubs stay on hubpages community and I thank you also for reading my article. 3. I thank all the people who have consistently voting my answers down. Peace to everyone. 4. Last but not least I thank GOD for allowing me to fulfill and complete my purpose on the earth with my 1 article and answering questions on hubpages. Without you GOD none of this would have been possible. 5. I thank GOD for the vision given to me on August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning of the other side of death. It is glorious. THAT'S ALL FOLKS.

I could be a butt kisser and say HubPages ( Hope they see this I could use some Hub Love).
I grew up before the internet. I'd survive, but would miss the convenience of doing a lot of things from home.

I wouldn't miss it at all. It's my profession and way of life. But, since I have been doing it since 1995, and computing ten years before that, I  could live without it and probably be happier. Of course, about five minutes into it I'd prolly wonder what the flight speed of the Austrian Mottled Yak bird is, and when I couldn't find out in about .016 nanoseconds, I'd be a little peeved. But I'd soon get over it. There is life after the electron is history. It's called fishing. Also survival. That's good.
