In what ways has having a facebook fanpage helped your business?
Facebook Fanpage??
Oh, I made a similar, Facebook Page related to my businesses and it has helped me to drive the traffic to other websites.
You can make your Fanpage more popular by telling it to your friends etc. Put some content about your Hubs, some about your blogs, some about other websites etc. Refer other using it etc.
You can even make a Fanpage which is all about Hubpages and you can post daily updates!!! This will attract more visitors towards your hubs!!
I hope I have helped you through my answer. Thanks for sharing your question with me.
I work with other people's fan pages so often, I haven't really had the chance to put my own up for my business. I've seen them grow from no fans into the hundreds and thousands, depending on line. It's been a great networking tool for the all the business. Some it's helped, because of all the positive feedback. We've gotten updates from customers who were having trouble with a related site. We've been able to run contests and get people interested, building a list. We've brought new customers into the fray because they know that sometime down the road they might be interested. One of the coolest things is the iFrames, have that mini site right there in the window has helped with conversions better than the FBML ever did (and, it's cheaper). People want to connect with someone, not just another corporate drone. Facebook can really help with that, if it's done right.
They are very helpful, especially for businesses that trade online. It's a great idea to offer your clients an incentive to join your facebook page, have a "like box" on your site to allow new visitors to join your page, and then you can blast updates to all of your followers home pages when you have a new promotion or product that you wish to show to the masses. Its good to inform all your possible clients in one hit and let them discuss your products / services amongst themselves aswell as yourselves. Also the new "ask a question" feature is excellent for gaining info aswell as getting your page noticed.
as a company we run weekly promotions on facebook, and these promotions are for free shipping with orders, or other free promotional give aways with orders. On a large scale it is very profitable, with these promotions we usually generate a great return on these promotions. It's good for us because we get to communicate with our customers on a large scale, but it's also good because it helps our customers save money. I think that we can do a lot more with Facebook and we plan on doing some more once we have time, and hopefully our fan pages then can help generate more revenue and more interaction with our customers.

Is there a reason why a woman would post a wedding photo on facebook of hereself only?Without sounding judgmental, isn't the husband part of the marriage as well? For example, an acquaintance was married a year ago and she posted her wedding photo on Facebook (just her, not her and husband)....
