    The best document creation and editing apps for iPad?

    What are the best document editing apps available for iPad.  I used one recently, and the document was stuck in a strange formatting when I sent it to my desktop.  Which apps are the best when sending documents back and forth between computers and iPads?

    The best app in my opinion is Apple's own Pages app. I have used it on my Mac and I recently bought it for my iPad. It can open and save documents in the Microsoft Word formats: doc or docx (2007 & 2010).

    I just use google drive. It's simple in terms of syncing, though the lack of features is glaring.

    You may checkout AstralPad- appstore.com/astralpad. Its free!
    This app has the best compatibility with MS office formats. And with Dropbox integration it is really easy to transfer documents between computer and iPad.
