Depends what type of website you have. You have to ask yourself will people be wanting to access your site on the go?

I agree with Kev - its totally depends of website category. if its simple 5-4 page website then its ok for same website, but it have products, media based website then mobile sites is needed.

I am building my own website on the GoDaddy platform and interestingly they have developed an automation used in tandem with their website tools to automatically craft a mobile website.

I haven't launched it as yet. I would have had the website up and running but for the fact, I wanted to see how the mobile portion worked and it works exceptionally well IF your main website is designed in a concise fashion.

As Pete accurately details, some websites translate into a mobile site much easier. I had to revamp my website several times to get the content to fit.

Hope this helps, I will try to get this up and running and keep you posted of the ease or the obstacles inherent in the program.

BTW I have been quoted hundreds of dollars to craft a mobile website. I have 8 hours of training in and expect to be complete with another 4 hours so the 12 hour investment for this entrepreneur I believe is time well spent.

Kudos to GoDaddy for providing this tool - I share this with you to help not to harm webmasters making a living off this vital marketing need.
