Why are the central processing unit and motherboard considered the brain and heart of a computer? Do you think these are good analogies? Why or why not?
I would say those are good analogies because a computer can't "live" without them. If your sound card dies, you can still use a muted computer. If your motherboard dies, you have to get a new machine entirely.
