    For humor, give it the old boot smile
    Seriously you might want to check your computer disk space if you are IT and know what that entails, if you were me;
    1. Add a good cleaner to clear your computer,
    2. Delete unwanted files store so to make memory space.
    3. Restart your computer.
    4. Upgrade smile

    For me, I just delete browsing history, cookies, temp. internet files and dump the recycle bin on windows. If it's still slow after a reboot, run a disk clean up then defrag.

    Usually if my nets running slow I'll try a mix of two things. I'll unplug my cable modem and wait 30 seconds then plug it back in and see if that helps. If that doesn't help I'll goto the run prompt type cmd then type ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew. I have mixed success with ipconfig /flushdns as well.

    Plan and simple use Ccleaner and remove your specific browser's cookies, cache, etc. Do not use the registry cleaner in that program trust me.

    I followed the below tips to increase the speed of my internet.I suggest these tips for anyone who needs to increase their internet speed.
    * Check to see if faster internet connections are in your area:
    Fiber optic and cable internet tend to be faster than DSL and dial-Up.
    *Do some basic maintenance on your PC:
    a scan disk, a virus scan, a malware scan, and clear your recycle bin.Delete old files and temporary files.
    * Reset Your Modem
    Sometimes switching OFF and ON your modem helps you to speed the internet.
    * Optimize your cache or temporary Internet files.
    These files improve your Internet connection performance by not downloading the same file over and over.

    After you have tried some of this,try your connection again using http://www.scanmyspeed.com/ and see if it's running any faster. If you are not satisfied Call your Internet service provider (ISP) and check whether upgradation of your plan is necessary.
