How long do you need to be an active member of a social network like stumble or twitter before you can market your hubs there?
I don't believe that you have to be an active member for any specific period of time. In terms of marketing your hub, I would suggest providing a link to your hub in your about me portion of your profile that way people who read about you have a direct link to your hub.
Additionally, I just started my hub last night. So far I love it and can't wait to see where it goes. After writing my first article last night, I went to both facebook and twitter and posted a link to the specific article I wrote for all of my friends or followers to go to. Its as easy as sharing the link and letting them know what its for!
