this actually depends on a number of factors, the number 1 being how much you're willing to spend. If money isn't a factor, I'd probably go for an LED LCD or a plasma since they are currently state of the art and the most advanced. But if you don't really care about that or about image quality, most LCD TVs are pretty good enough and should not be too expensive as well.
