I was searching about registry cleaners and got an online article...

According to this registry easy is good? is this correct?
Registry Cleaning is overblown.
Just use a free tool like CCleaner.
Yea I would use something like CCleaner to get rid of the extra junk on your PC. It gets rid of extra temp files that take up space etc.
If you've had a virus I would check malwarebytes as that will do some registry clean up and fixing.
Registry Booster is another one I have heard of that I tried but had mixed results. The fact is that your computer works so much faster than you do that most of the time the clean ups will give you no perception of speed increase.
You might have more luck at increasing the amount of ram in your system and running a defrag.
I wrote an article related to this yesterday - http://hubpages.com/hub/choosing-registry-cleaner
After you read it you'll understand what registry cleaner you need and why.
