    What's the best service for making a good website for a music group?

    Inexpensive is a plus. Also, an automated template/interface would be good. I would also like to own my own domain name as part of the package. I don't really want to have to learn much about coding or web design. However, I am interested in making a great looking site for my music.

    You can use wordpress.org. its the easyest and it"s free. you can find dedicate themes (templates) for music by searching "wordpress themes". you don't need to mess with any code.

    I agree wordpress is one of the best sources. There are many great free and premium themes out there that are really easy to use.

    I would recommend a site called wpexplorer.com, they have some great themes. And they have a post with over 50 free themes from 2010, this may be worth checking out.

    I would go with the old fashioned way of recording demo tapes and CD's and handing them out. There's something about having the music in your hand rather than just on the internet that makes people appreciate the music more.
