Being on the top of the search engine is not easy but just follow what buryshane said.
I also agree with buryshane who put it best, and also remember to keeping reading and learning more about SEO. Use awstats.sourceforge.net/ (free) to view your site's stats for tending analysis. Also, register your site on top search engines, and register your site on sites like http://www.alexa.com/ too.
