I asked the question about making a hard drive active in win 7.
When i plug the hard drive in it detects it and the autoplay window comes up. Also when i go into disk management and format the hard drive, it formats properly. i then right click on it and try to choose mark partiton as active, but the option is disabled and wont allow for me to click the option. I have tried everything and read hundreds of tutorials. Im starting to think its the hard drive, but not sure. Please help.
