Wireless keyboards avoid a wire and make it easy to move the keyboard if your workstation also doubles as a desk. I have found that I usually don't move the keyboard so having a wire isn't such a big deal. I have noticed that the battery in my wireless keyboard lasts a long time -- a lot longer than the one in my wireless mouse or trackball.
if you have enough money, it's better to buy wireless keyboard. You can use the keyboard from any positions far away from computer.
I believe that it is more based on your particular need and taste, if you are always getting annoyed by the cable or if you are always moving the keyboard in different locations while you type then it might be a good idea.... just know that because it is wireless, you have to be conscious of not blocking the single while you move the keyboard.
