when I connect the camera to my pc, the movie files won�t appear to transfer, just JPGs, why?
You might have to install the software that came with your camera. I have to do the same with my Kodak Easy Share. If you still got the CD that came with the camera pop it in and install the software. Otherwise you maybe able to find the software for download online at the manufactures website. IE: www.kodak.com
I had the same problem with my camera until I installed the Easy Share software that came with the camera. Before I installed it the camera would turn of during transferring of video files.

How to transfer files using remote desktop? I am using rdesktop to connect my Linux system to a windows system. I am not able to share my local drives with my remote windows system.
