I recently updated to the latest version of Internet Explorer and now my flash player won't work. When I try to play a video clip on Youtube or play a flash game I get this message:
Can anyone suggest a fix? Thank you in advance.
What video are you trying to play? If it's from Facebook, you must have gotten the Koobface virus (actually worm). If not, then great.
Get the Adobe Flash Player from their website as there are many rogue softwares available now. Once you do, restart your computer. And yes,I'm not a fan of IE myself. I love Firefox and Chrome better.
Thanks for your help and advice. After multiple re-installations of flash I still cannot get it to work, so I took your advice and switched to Firefox. Everything works great. Microsoft just lost another user.
IE 8 is a version that gives a lot of trouble for everything. Anyone I talked to around town says keep 7. Of course personally I use Firefox and will never leave it.

I've been having this issue for a couple of days. Seems to be happening a lot today when I visit a hub or a hubber's profile page that the flash player 15.0r keeps crashing. It was suggested the other day that I perhaps remove that version and download an older version. What does HP recommend?

Bummer! Twice in a row I was kicked off the Internet by a Flash Player problem with Hubpages. Same thing happened a couple of days ago. Is this related to ads wanting to play or is it something else?

What is this message? "This site uses a plug-in (adobe flash player) that will soon be unsupported."I am seeing two messages on most pages of HubPages.com since yesterday. What does these messages mean? Is it something related to hubpages? Or it refers to some problem on my computer?1)...

Hi all,I thought I'd check out a few of the new video hubs but find that there is no embedded video in them when I go to the hub - I have a feeling this may be a browser issue. Hubs with YouTube embedded videos work just fine.I'm viewing on a Mac through Firefox - it should be the latest...

I've read lots of instructional stuff about these, but I've pretty much given up on trying to put them on my hubs because I just don't understand aspects of these tools. What I'd like to know is: Can I survive on HubPages without them?
