    Hello Staff,

I remember someone else starting a thread on this topic and I went back a 2 weeks looking for the thread, but unable to find it.

However, I came across "ad code" being displayed on one of my hubs and I took a picture of it, so Staff can see it for themselves.

I hope it's just a glitch or one time thing, however, it might be worth checking out.

    Thank you for your time.

      Hi Cagsil et al,

Thank you for your reports. We are looking into it.  For those of you that have seen the error, could you please provide some more info:

      -What browser were you using?
-Where (country) are you accessing HubPages from?
      -What time of day (roughly)?
-Frequency -- how many instances of the error (less than 5, more than 5, more than 10, etc)?

Now it is at 5 or more times I've seen it. Not only on my hubs but others.

          Thanks, Cagsil!

The times you've seen it, were you logged in to your HubPages account?

Yes. I don't view any Hubpages/Hubs without being logged in.

Does this appear on all your hubs or only one that you know of?

Laura, so far I have only seen it on one hub, but as Hippi stated, it's on more. wink

Casil...I'm glad you posted this because I was just coming to the forums to post it as well.  I just noticed it on another hubber's hub that I was reading and I noticed it once yesterday but I thought maybe it was just a freak thing.  Apparently not.

I checked about a dozen of my hubs and it's on them too but when I hit refresh some of them will clear.  Hmmmmm.....Yeah, I don't know how to take a picture of my screen and post it here.  There's definitely an issue.

I'm also using latest version of Firefox.  Started noticing it around 10 or so as well however, I noticed it yesterday evening but thought it was a one time thing.  Have seen it now well over a dozen times as I'm browsing.

I'm in Michigan, USA AT&T Uverse (don't know if you need this info...I'm copying off of Cagsil. smile)

      Thanks, theherbivorehippi!

Could you provide a list of 3-4 Hubs that you've seen the error on?

Also -- always when logged in?

    Firefox 3.6.17

    USA Central Zone

different times I see this in my hubs and different hubbers like I tested it with Paul Edmondsons hubs, just below the profile pic the ads there in his hubs and some of my hubs have the same error scripts. But this is not consistent with other hubs, some have problems while others are ok at the same time of the day. I don't know if it is the type of ads that is causing it? Last night it was like that as well.

We believe to have a fix in place. Unfortunately, one of the ad providers was rotating in a broken tag, which can happen.

Please let us know if you continue to see the error, particularly at that same frequency.

    Thanks for your help, everyone.

The frequency of this has died down, and it seems to be affecting a small group of users. One of our moderators who was experiencing the problem on Firefox 3.6.17 upgraded to 4.0.1 and hasn't seen it since.

I'm curious if any of you will still see the error after upgrading. Get faster browsing too cool

I've upgraded to the new Firefox version, but haven't noticed it. smile

I've been running the upgraded version.  This is what I've seen these broken ads on....don't think it's the browser.  Maybe this is off subject and perhaps I'm wrong but I though the ads weren't suppose to move on Hubpages.  Am I imagining that we were told this once upon a time but now I can't seem to see an ad that doesn't move in one way or another, especially in the position under the profile pic.  Is this going to be a permanent thing?  I just find many of them distracting and some don't even have anything to do with the Hub.

I mean, I just looked at an At&T Uverse flashing ad on a gardening hub.  This is just not doing anything for the quality of my hub.....
