Is free website really reliable and in our own control?
I am in doubt about the free website provider because don't know one day the website that I am running with be plug off without prior notice. Who can guarantee that my free website will disappear one day suddenly?
well, i would say that free websites are a no go for long term projects as they tend to go off anytime. Some may provide you with prior notice, some might not. So don't put all your cards on a free webhost or a sub-domain thing. Get a domain from a good provider like GoDaddy, etc. and you're good to go !!
All time the free website is not reliable to control. It's better to avoid it.
If you chose to use a free website, just be sure to always backup your website code. Then you don't really have to worry about it that much.
But honestly, you may as well pay the extra money to buy a domain for the year. You can get domains for as little as $12.00 a year.
That's what I did anyways.

How reliable are websites that offer free hosting and free domain name?I have websites on weebly.com for free and they are doing fine. But what about other free hosting? Are they search engine friendly? Does making your site on a paid hosting get you more traffic?

I am considering creating a web site and would appreciate comments/suggestions. I am fairly new to this and the only web hosting/creation site that I know is godaddy.com but I am sure there must be more.
