What are the common pocedures followed when installing any/most antivirus softwares?

I'd recommend using a suite since it also provides increased Internet security besides being able to stop viruses from infecting your computer
A Good Anti-Virus will block most threats to your computer. It's important not to be complacent. There is one rule on the internet, don't trust it.
There are loads of paid and free solutions, but it also pays to be aware of solutions to remove the stuff that gets past your scanner. It's also important to realise when something has gotten past it.
