    I sold an item on ebay now buyer claims he has not received?

    i sold an item on Ebay and now the buyer syas he has not rec and would like refunded I have a proof of postage what do I do now.

    did you send it with tracking?  if you didnt you may be liable for a refund

    You can contact the shipper and see if they can track it. Otherwise, next time make sure to ship via a trackable source. USPS Priority is cheaper than UPS and Fedex, and generally comes with a tracking number.

    If the dispute has been raised through eBay or PayPal, then you can forward your proof - postage details - to eBay during their investigation. eBay will verify those and make a decision accordingly.

    If no dispute has been raised through eBay by the buyer you need not worry (I believe you are honest in this matter)

    It is highly recommended to ship items to the PayPal address of the buyer and if it is a high priced item ensure to send as 'delivery signature' required.
