   HubPages Asked For Phone Verification?
   
   They have asked for my phone number for verification to post an article, I'm worried about being charged long distance (I live in Canada) so do they send you a text message from a phone within your country so it doesn't cost you long distance?
   
   If so, is there anyway to verify yourself without giving them your phone number? Because even if it doesn't cost me long distance I prefer not giving out my cell phone number to strangers...
   
   Does correctly answering there capachas (not sure how to spell that) not verify me?

      My account stil has not bee fixed.  Why would HubPages not have this fixed by now?  They did it once before and fixed it, Why not now????  I  really want to know what is going on with you and why can't you send me a phone number or an email address?

   Yeah I've never heard that one before... Seems a little bit over the top to me, I do believe though that if you do receive a text it wouldn't be from a Canadian number and therefore you may get a charge, but I'm not sure because I've never heard of this before.

   My question to you is, did you know for sure that you were on hubpages? Maybe it was not hubpages and you were on a phish version site which is a common occurrence?

      This is only a hunch, but your username has "gamer" in it and maybe Hubpages has security listeners thinking you could be a spammer. I am not saying you are, but am just coming up with another possible reason why this is happening to you.

   I signed in and all my Hub posts are gone!  Now my rating is dropping fast!  I want to know what they've done to them???  Lately every time I log in something new has been done/  I haven't posted anything else because now I don't trust them!  Has anyone else had this problem today?  I was just here yesterday answering fan mail and now this!!!!
   Not a Happy Camper!
   Not to mention, I saw where they are't  accredited and the BBB has a site to complain about them?????

      They should have a means to call them or contact them by mail as well!  Something,s Fishy!!!
