How do I remove my name from myLife?
I just googled my name and saw that information is available online about me that people are able to pay for. Including, but not limited to, criminal background checks, some miscellaneous information on peoplesmart.com, etc. I'd really rather this information were not available when people search for me.
Hmm, I would say select the website that it has your details and email the admin to remove. If you have hosting accounts, you got to pay a certainly amount to have that 'censored'. Hope this helps a little.
I'd be surprised if there were a way to do this, without being part of somekind of powerful government agency.
One of the biggest purposes of the Internet and many sites is to collect data and it's VERY hard to use it without leaving some sort of trail.
If you really want to be invisible then use aliases and make sure to go through all the sites you've already signed upto to delete all your personal info.
But this is tricky and will reduce the amount of freedom you have online, best solution i think is to just accept it as part of the Internet's many risks.
There are ways to avoid the worse effects like protecting your real world location and e-mail address but data will still be collected bit by bit.

I am currently writing a product hub and found a great bit of kit to include but on amazon it is currently unavailable and they do not know when or if this item will be back in stock. Is it worth including this item on my hub or shall I go searching for something similar?
