What are the most effective website platforms for artists/writers?
Ive been currently using WIX, although loading is slow, and frustrating for visitors to my site. I would prefer HTML. What are you using thats working??? Anyone?
Wordpress still does the magic to me, thousends of templates to download and use, easy interface, fast, reliable and above all very easy to use.
Best is to use a self hosted wordpress blog as you can add some pretty neat plugins
Thanks for your response *steffer*
I have previously owned a website powered by wordpress in the past (self-hosted) I had to learn variety of tricky html, well to me it seemed anyhow, I will reconsider -investigate how it works for an online gallery.

I read that with Drupal you can do absolutely everything, but Wordpress is easier to learn and for administration of your blog. So which is better on the long term, Drupal or Wordpress?
