What are some tricks to sending out successful email newsletters?
Use a system that has tracking / analytics features so that you can see who opened emails and what they clicked on after opening the message. This can help you refine your newsletter campaigns in the future.
Avoid complicated formatting and the use of large images that increase the page loading time. Also, it's better to send out a larger newsletter more infrequently than to send out smaller editions more infrequently (think spam filters.) The exception would be for time-sensitive materials, like leads or expiring deals.
Above all, respect people's decision to opt out. I can't tell you how many times I've clicked "unsubscribe" only to see the same newsletter cluttering my inbox every day.

I was told that successfully competing in a HubNuggets meant that your hub was then promoted in the next HP News Letter. So when does that happen and how does one obtain a copy of HP News Letters?

I'm not sure if others here will agree with me but I enjoy reading the Hubpages newsletters. Is there a way to post past copies? Going back to the first edition? zs
