What are five good reasons to retain a telephone landline?
I live in a rural area where cell signals are not always reliable. We also have occasional power outages-- but the landlines remain operable even when electricity is out. We can call friends and neighbors to ascertain the breadth of the outage. and we still have access to emergency services via phone , even if we can't chare our cell phone.
That may not be five-- but they are good when other options fail.
