The world of investing will be the next big leap in social networking.  You can already see this in site such as stocktwits.com.  The social networking model is tapped into to create a dynamic exchange of trading and investing ideas.

You also see it in the world of forex trading where many forex brokers now offer the ability to follow and directly emulate the trades of other successful traders.

I have no idea but I can't wait. The way in which myspace then facebook changed the world is amazing to me.

Those sites that allow regular people to gain wide recognition, offer their services, and sell stuff with a refined social context. Special-purpose social networking sites like Etsy and Project Noah are growing strong. Facebook and G+ need to do a better job of tying them all together without all the clutter.
