Yes we are too dependent. If you got that feeling of lost and can't go through a day without your phone or tablet, then you are too dependent. I know a few people that have arrived at work, and then run out the door to drive all the way back home just to get their phone. They don't care about the traffic, or the extra gas they will use. Their phones are that important. It is important to me because I have two little girls and I would hate not to receive that phone call because I put almost all my information and daily schedule into my phone. But in a way the phone and tabs have made us a instant society. We are getting information quicker and able to respond to the needs and wants of others quickly. But speed is not always better, because if you lose your smart phone, you should be able to function still and unfortunately most people can't nowadays.
