I've never used Ebay before, and I was wondering about how bidding works. If I place a bid and win, does that mean I have actually bought it, or does it simply mean I'm just obligated to buy it? If I win, does it automatically pay through my paypal account on its own, or do I have to do it?
Hi if you win a bid, you have agreed to buy the item at the winning bid price, plus the stated postage cost. You must pay through your paypal account by 'checking out'. It is not automatic, but you must honour the bid or you will lose your ebay account.
