Looking for a low cost or free mailing list software. Any recommendations?
It can be a piece of software that I install on my server, or computer, or a service that I subscribe to. It should be easy to use and have customizable messages for each user, and handle subscribe and unsubscribe requests. I have a budget of $10 per month. If you have used something similar, I would welcome your recommendation.
GNU mailman is pretty good, robust, and open source. A lot of webhosts will have it or it is easy to install. It really is the de facto standard with mailing lists and best of all is free. Here is a great cheap host that already has it accessible through their control panel. http://goo.gl/jKghL
try mailchimp, it's free until you reach a certain number of subscribers
