If you have wi fi on computer and wi fi extender to extend range in home, you can hook cell phone to wi fi and save money by not using Internet data on phone.
Yep, what brakel2 says: use wifi whenever, wherever you can so that your cell phone isn't paying for internet data usage. This includes using the wifi connection to not only surf the net but for making calls too, with iPhone apps like Viber, and texting apps like Whatsapp, both of which use internet data to operate (rather than you cell's telephone plan) and if you're on wifi then you don't pay a thing!
