Will Facebook's New Gambling Ventures Be Profitable?
Facebook recently made the decision to allow there social networking platform to be used for online gambling in exchange for a cut of the revenues (in the United Kingdom, Not the U.S.). Do you think this will be a good idea for Facebook's business or will there be a backlash from users who think gambling is unethical?
facebook will probably do well for a while, gain some users and keep the players in for a while, then make more changes to the interface, policies and settings, and the way users interact with the gambling ventures and one another, making it much harder for the users to interact with the games......frustration will follow, eventually pushing the users out to go directly to the gambling sites themselves or quit.......Whats the saying? --- "history repeats itself" (i.e. Zynga)
