This depends on the type of TV you have. Most newer SMART TV's like that LG I have reviewed in my hub comes with wifi built in. Which means you can very easily link to your house wifi and access the internet - it is simple as clicking settings and connecting to wifi hub.
On the other hand if you have a SMART TV that requires you to purchase a TV enabled wifi dongle then you need to connect the dongle to your TV and then set it up as above.
Otherwise yu could connect a network cable to your TV and connect to your broadband modem/hub. Then setup your network using settings on your TV.
The way my Samsung Smart TV does this is by connecting a dongel to it via a USB port in the back of it. There is not a specific dongel that is required; I bought a non-affiliated one on Amazon and it works great!
