I don't know about the second part of your question, but Google definitely is far more powerful than Apple. Apple competes with Microsoft. Who does Google have to compete with? Yahoo? Bing? Really there is no significant competition when it comes to Google.
Yes it's true that on the web google is king but google has also diversified into apple's traditional territory. The ANDROID operating system for mobile competes favourably with apple's IOS. Apple is today the world's largest company and google is perhaps the world's most powerful company. And as the 21st century gets more technologized, i see these two companies determining the fate of our planet. Thanks for commenting though.

Over 1/4 of my hubs have not been moved to a niche site. They do not have much traffic from Google, so it is not HPs fault that they have not been selected. There is nothing wrong with them, but they do not have "Google love" so are only moved in the slow process where I ask HP to move...
