yes, but I think we need to look at the parents of today. I see everywhere parents who are out with their kids on their smartphones and all its teaching them is that you shouldn't interact with other people because you have your phone.
The only thing is where would you start? A day with no phones? an hour? 20 minutes? If kids can't get through a class period without checking their phones how can be give them a detox?
If there are signs of addiction, yes. For kids who ignore their chores, studies and family, spending all of their face time in front of an electronic screen, definitely. It can be a sign of poor social skills and a need for change.
