Do you like the "in your face" advertising in Facebook?
It doesn't bother me because Facebook helps me a lot in terms of socializing with friends and other writers.,
Facebook does help us connect with people and engage in communities. There are so many things on Facebook that can open up millions more of discussion. Small businesses feel that even with their following, Facebook is urging them to pay for advertising. Posts on pages do not show up as much on people's timelines. That's what I heard recently.
If you are very familiar with Facebook, I guess ignoring the ads would be very easy. I don't mind it as much now!
I definitely do not. I like seeing my friends' status updates, and not a whole lot of 'suggested pages' from Facebook. However, if Facebook does this so that they don't have to charge for the social networking, then I can suffer through it.
It's getting so bad that I am not using FB nearly as much as I used to. I can't stand it and it's always the same garbage over and over and over in my feed now. I was fine with it when it was just sidebars, but it's over the top now.
