Do you use any browser privacy add-ons?
Such as anonymoX, autoProxy, betterPrivacy, DoNotTrackMe, FoxyPoxy, Ghostery or Google Privacy? Are you concerned about data mining, government surveillance in response to profiling people as 'terrorists' because they have more than 7 days of food or question political policies such as free-speech-zones aka "freedom cages"? Do you realize that you leave behind a trail of 'data exhaust' and is feed into the Crime Reduction Utilizing Statistical History, CRUSH?
I don't use any of those, but I do use PeerBlock which blocks over 1 billion unwanted IPs from accessing my personal data or web searches. It even prevents me from seeing ads when I visit websites because it doesn't allow Google to see what I'm viewing online. They use what you're viewing to tailor ads to each person, so they aren't able to do that to me. I definitely recommend it.

Firefox crashed on me last night, and now won't restart (even in safe mode). Anyone got any ideas? I hesitate to re-install it, as I would lose add-ons, etc.

The Patriot Act was meant to be short term but looks to become permanent. Does it go to far? Does it really violate our privacy rights?
