A disk read error occurred press ctrl+alt+del to restart. does anyone know how to fix it?
This is the message that appears on my computer's screen when I try to boot my system, I follow that instruction (ctrl+alt+del) and it appears again and again. Can anyone help me please? your help is much appreciated
Typically that means that your hard drive has failed. You would have to acquire a new hard drive to replace the existing one and reinstall an operating system.
thanks atechwiz, does it mean the disk can not be repaired now?
The disk is most likely beyond repair if you are getting that message.
Okay now I will have to buy another. Thank you
